Hal English
Ceo & President,
Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce
Former Big Brother
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County would like to congratulate Hal English as this year's Legacy Volunteer Award Honoree. Hal is a former Big Brother who volunteered in our School-Based Mentorship program 13 years ago. His Little Brother Thomas was in 3rd grade when they were matched, yet they still keep in touch over a decade later!
Michele Myers
Big Sister,
Bloomberg Workplace Mentor
Congratulations to Michele Myers, this BBBS-Mercer's honoree for Big Sister of the Year! Michele has been a shining example of what mentorship is all about in our Workplace Mentorship program at Bloomberg Philanthropies! Just take it from one of her mentees: "Ms. Michele has never failed to uplift others, including myself when she noticed we needed an extra boost of confidence; she has always been loving, supportive, kind, and truly unforgettable."
Eric Wells
Big Brother
Community Based Program
Celebrating Eric Wells this year for being honored as the Big Brother of the Year! Eric signed up to volunteer for our program back in 2016, where he was matched with his Little Brother Adam. They quickly hit it off, expressing a shared interest in video games. Eric made it a point to be there for Adam at school events, and be an all-around role model and trusted friend to Adam! They are still in touch and have made it a point to check in regularly since being matched.
Corporate Partner of the Year, Bank of America, has been a loyal supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, regularly volunteering at our annual events, including the Picnic, Backpack Giveaway, and Holiday Party. Each year, their donation of backpacks and school supplies have equipped hundreds of children in our community for a successful start to the school year.
